Disney’s Boardwalk is an entertainment, dining, and shopping complex at Walt Disney World. Disney's Boardwalk is modeled after turn-of-the-century seaside towns in the Mid-Atlantic and New England, and is reminiscent of turn of the century Coney Island. Unique Jersey-shore style live entertainment is also available nightly.

Disney’s Boardwalk includes a boardwalk along a waterfront filled with stores, restaurants, dance halls, and other entertainment. The pool area is themed like Luna Park, one of Coney Island's legendary amusement parks, and has a distinct amusement park atmosphere. It even includes a roller coaster which is really a water slide and a pool bar dressed up as a carousel.

Along the Boardwalk itself Big River Grille, Flying Fish Cafe, and Spoodles provide the meal options. TheFlying Fish Cafe specializes in seafood, but also features game and vegetarian dishes. Spoodles spotlights Mediterranean cuisine, and its tapas-oriented menu is perfect for sampling the authentic dishes of Mediterranean countries. The Big River Grille & Brewing Works, in addition to serving grilled steaks to order, has Walt Disney World’s first microbrewery that produces its own beers.

The ESPN Club has 100 televisions (some even in the restrooms!) and a 108-square-foot screen - its menu includes a typical American fare, including pasta, sandwiches, salads and hamburgers.

Belle Vue Lounge, a quiet spot with overstuffed furniture and antique radios playing old-time radio dramas, also offers a light breakfast in the mornings. If all you want is a light snack, try the BoardWalk Bakery, with sweet rolls and sandwiches, or Spoodles Pizza Window. There are also a number of kiosks with typical BoardWalk fare, such as cheese fries and chili dogs!

The entertainment available at the BoardWalk ranges from nightclubs to free live outdoor entertainment. Atlantic Dance is a 1940's style dance hall which features live bands on certain nights. A piano bar, called Jellyrolls, with its uproarious sing-alongs and dueling piano players. A candy shop, general store, bakery, character merchandise shop, and the typical sports (tennis, bike rentals, etc.) round out the facilities. On any given night, strolling along the BoardWalk from 6:30-10:30 p.m. you may see a sword swallower, jugglers, a tarot card reader, a New Orleans style jazz trio... you just never know.

Disney's Boardwalk is located off of Buena Vista Drive almost directly across the road from the Disney / MGM Studios, right in the middle of Walt Disney World. Since it's right behind Epcot, you can easily walk to that park and enter at the "International Gateway," Epcot's back entrance.

Take I-4 to Exit 64-B (Epcot). Take 2nd exit (Epcot Resorts/Disney-MGM Studios). Turn right at 4th traffic signal. The Boardwalk will be on the left.
